MCP Tools — v2

The v2 MCP tool suite (63 tools), grouped by category. Each tool's page is generated from the live tool registry, so it always matches what the server serves. See the MCP Tools overview for data coverage, pricing, and common usage patterns.

Connecting to v2​

Point your MCP client at the version-selected endpoint for v2:

  • API key (Bearer token): https://phoenix.hginsights.com/api/mcp/v2
  • OAuth 2.1: https://phoenix.hginsights.com/api/ai/mcp/v2

The unversioned endpoints (/api/ai/{YOUR_API_KEY}/mcp, /api/mcp, and /api/ai/mcp) serve v2, the default version. The API-key-in-URL path (/api/ai/{YOUR_API_KEY}/mcp) only ever serves v2 — to reach a different version, authenticate with a Bearer token or OAuth 2.1 using one of the version-selected endpoints above.

  • Company AI Spend — company_ai_spend — estimated annual AI spend / GenAI budget / how much a company spends on AI (USD), broken down by AI category and country, from HG Insights v2.
